At Black Velvet LLC, we believe that the finest desserts do more than satisfy a sweet tooth—they bring people together. My passion for the kitchen wasn't born in a culinary school; it was cultivated right in the heart of the community. Growing up, I spent countless hours watching my aunt and my godmother command the church kitchen, preparing meals and baking treats for church community fundraisers. I fell in love with the entire process—the laughter, the careful preparation, and the pure joy of watching people take that first bite of food made with genuine love.
